You may like to stay in Clovelly, this lovely village is famous for it donkeys which in years gone by were used
to haul holidaymakers - as well as the local up the very speep main street from the harbour.
Bude is also another must see Devon village, again Bude is popular with surfers but also the North Devon coastal
path winds it way through the village and is very popular with walkers.
If you want more adventure why not try your hand at horse riding, there are dozens of top quality stables in the
area who will cater for both the novice as well as the more experienced rider, and there are many great hacks out
around the area, one of the best riding areas is of course the famous North Downs which are crisscrossed with
ancient pack horse trails and make for a great riding adventure, of course there are also many horse friendly pubs
in the area where you can unwind and take a break and the horse will be stabled for you.
